Mr. Reginald Sluch
Brother Reginald Sluch, a native of New Orleans, LA, attended the University of New Orleans and later Loyola University of New Orleans where he studied Computer Information Systems/Management. Bro. Sluch was initiated into Phi Beta Sigma at Iota Lambda Chapter on April 11, 1981 on the campus of the University of New Orleans. Bro. Sluch’s service to Sigma continued as an undergraduate by holding several offices during his time spent at Iota Lamda. He served as Director of Education (1982), Dean of Pledges (Fall 1982) and Chapter 1st Vice President (1983). After transferring to Loyola University – New Orleans in the Fall of 1983, Bro. Sluch initiated membership activities and co-founded the Omicron Phi Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma (Summer 1984) with Bro. Jonathan Payne. Bro. Sluch reconnected with Phi Beta Sigma with the Iota Mu Sigma Chapter (Arlington, TX) in 2006. Due to location and proximity to his home, Bro Sluch transferred to Omicron Sigma Chapter in 2007 and continues to serve Sigma as the Director of Bigger and Better Business for the chapter. Bro Sluch, who currently lives in Garland, TX (northeast of Dallas, TX), began his professional career in Information Systems on active duty with the United States Marine Corps in 1986 as a computer programmer/analyst. After a five year stint in the Marine Corps, Bro. Sluch embarked on developing a career in corporate America. Currently he is employed by Automated Data Processing, Inc (ADP) as a Project Manager in the Time and Labor Management Division tasked with manager time and labor implementation projects. Bro. Sluch is married to wife, Monica, who is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, and they have three children, Sharde, Shane, and Shandice.
