Dr. Jarman M. Porter
Brother Jarman M. Porter, Ph.D. is graduate of Southern University and A & M College, Baton Rouge, LA with a degree in Business Management, Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, IL with a MAT degree in Secondary Education-History major, and The Union Institute and University, Cincinnati, OH with Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration & Leadership. To his credit he has served in numerous educational capacities from Vice President of Student Affairs, Upward Bound Counselor, Professor and Educational Consultant.
To date one of his most noteworthy accomplishments is developing the internal and external governance for a brand new college, Copeland College. Under his leadership the following has been developed; organizational structure, curriculum, board by-laws, strategic plan etc. Additionally, as a lifetime member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Dr. Porter continues to embrace his obligation to community relations and educational excellence, while at the same time advocating for the less fortunate and championing service for all of humanity. As an educational consultant Dr. Porter has presented numerous workshops and seminars throughout the Midwest and Rural South.
